DESCRIPTION:Els Creative Young Entrepreneur (CYE) són uns premis nacionals i internacionals de la Junior Chamber International (JCI) creats per motivar\, reconèixer i premiar l’esforç i el talent de joves emprenedors excepcionals; acompanyant-los i formant-los en la creació de projectes que puguin esdevenir nous negocis d’èxit. \nMés enllà dels premis\, el programa CYE brinda a tots els participants l’oportunitat de formar-se i créixer de la mà d’un equip de professionals referents en múltiples àmbits claus per al món de l’emprenedoria i el lideratge. \n\n\n\n\nCALENDARI \n\n\n\n\nDE L’1 DE GENER AL 17 DE FEBRER \nPeríode d’inscripció de les candidatures. \nDEL 18 DE FEBRER AL 18 DE MARÇ \nPrograma de formacions i mentoratge CYE. \nDEL 20 DE MARÇ AL 26 DE MARÇ \nEntrega dels projectes definitius. \n1 D’ABRIL \nGala CYE amb graduació i entrega de premis. \n\n\n\n\n\nPer participar en el programa CYE s’han de complir els següents requisits: \n– Tenir entre 18 i 40 anys. \n– El projecte o idea de negoci presentat ha de tenir un vessant creatiu o innovador.\n\n– En cas que ja s’hagi iniciat l’activitat empresarial\, aquesta no pot tenir una antiguitat superior a 18 mesos.\n\nLa inscripció té un cost de 50€\, necessària per poder accedir a les formacions que ofereix el programa i per optar a rebre el premi de 1.000€.

SUMMARY:11th PhD-Student Workshop on Industrial and Public Economics (WIPE)\, 9-10 febrer 2023
DESCRIPTION:Workshop objectives \nThe 11th edition of the WIPE workshop has been scheduled for February 9-10 2023\, organised by ECO-SOS in Reus\, at Universitat Rovira i Virgili. \nWIPE aims to be an academic meeting for PhD students to interact with other young scholars\, postdoc\, and senior researchers to exchange experiences\, research ideas\, ongoing projects\, and future research activities in the fields of Industrial Organization and Public Economics. \nWIPE will include about 18-20 presentations\, each of them being discussed by a participant at the workshop\, will also host a keynote lecture by Inés Macho (UAB and BSE). \nFormer keynote speakers at WIPE have been: Mar Reguant (Northwestern University)\, Natalia Fabra (UC3M)\, Kai Konrad (Max Planck Institute)\, Mark Armstrong (University of Oxford)\, Alessandro Gavazza (LSE)\, Luis Cabral (NYU)\, Jose Luis Moraga-Gonzalez (VU Amsterdam)\, Tommaso Valletti (Imperial College London)\, Xavier Vives (IESE)\, and Massimo Filippini (ETH Zürich).
